Rossignol Soul 7 Review

Rossignol Soul 7

These handled knee deep powder snow really well out of the gates and in the resort. At 107 mm underfoot they are wide enough for all but the very deepest days. They are also quite a lightweight ski so if you are planning a peak hike, these skis are more than up to the descent and won’t weigh you down too much when they are on your back on the way up.

These would also be a great option for anyone still perfecting their skills in the deeper snow - they are really approachable and fun. These will ski the Niseko corduroy just fine but I didn’t love them so much on hardpack as I found them a bit too soft if you picked up the pace a bit - they definitely work best in softer/deeper snow.

Capita Navigator

A great all-mountain board that carves well and holds an edge confidently. It has great pop for side hits and park features, and performs well in powder.

K2 Party Platter

A great powder board with a wider shape that provides excellent float. However, the extra width can make edge-to-edge transitions on piste more challenging.
