A typical Niseko overnight snowfall left us with calf deep snow in trees off Hana 1. I think the 106 - 108 mm width underfoot is a real sweet spot for these very common Niseko conditions and the Armada 108 fitted the bill perfectly for the day’s conditions. These skis were super fun and playful, nimble in the trees and tonnes of float.
I thought the Armada Trace 108 was similar in feel to the very popular Rossignol Soul 7 - but the Trace felt just a bit sportier and more stable at speed.
